According to the researchers, no society is completely warlike or completely peaceful, but societies have a mixture of peace and war. But it is usually much more difficult to observe peacefulness in them than warlike manifestations. The missing link in the historical memory of us humans is the normal events and images related to daily common actions that have ensured the survival of humans to this day, But these events are rarely seen in the written history of countries, and the civil part of history has always been defeated by its war and military part. Such an incomplete picture of history has been rooted in us from generation to generation and has strengthened one-dimensional mentalities and one-way solutions in dealing with others; In such a way that we generally adjust our competitions within the framework of win-loss discourse and we are oblivious to the long-term benefits of win-win discourse for human society. Based on this, thinking about peace, and examining its dimensions, contexts, and ways to achieve it, seems as vital as the air we breathe. The increasing growth of "endangered" societies requires the issue of peace to be raised as a research and educational need and its dimensions to be taken into consideration in fields such as philosophy, psychology, law, sociology, educational sciences, and management. With such a view, while focusing on the social and cultural aspects of peace, this book has tried to prepare the ground for a lesson plan in the field of sociology of peace with shaky steps, but towards the future.
