In this book, the author tries to examine the view of "Sigmund Freud" on the subject of "civilization and the role of man in it". In the foundation of his discussion about civilization, Freud refers to the self-consciousness that has been purified and neutralized in the grip of civilization and deals with the unconsciousness that nurtures the individual human will. In Freud's eyes, it becomes a fear of revealing the original human nature, which always prevents him from speaking in a combative tone; Maybe that's why Freud always has a peaceful view of things. Freud is one of the few thinkers who paid special attention to art. Therefore, in this book, the movie "The Boxing Club" which was made by David Fincher and inspired by Freud's views on civilization has been analyzed.
