The book "Comparative Literature" written by "Bahman Namurtalaq" was published by "Logos" publishing house. This book deals with the concept of schools of types and figures in comparative literature and is important in this respect. This book can be used as an effective resource for literature and performing arts students. Comparative literature is linked with the knowledge of literature and comparative knowledge, it studies the relationship between the literature of one culture and the literature of other cultures and the relationship between the knowledge of literature and other knowledge, such as the knowledge of art and the knowledge of humanities. The field of study of comparative literature is wide and diverse; If under certain conditions, any literary work can be considered the subject of this knowledge. However, despite its importance, this knowledge is little or even poorly known in Iran. Therefore, Dr. Bahman Namurtalaq, Ph.D. in comparative literature from France and a university professor, tries in this book, after explaining the basics, fundamental concepts, approaches, functions, and schools of comparative literature, to provide the ground for the expansion of this study approach to literature in Iran. The final chapters of the book are devoted to more recent topics such as intercultural literature and comparative literature, differences and similarities of comparative literature with national and world literature, but yeah, but geology and comparative literature physicology. Logos Publishing intends to make this book a cornerstone for the publication of other authored and translated works in the broad field of comparative literature.
