After the constitutional revolution in Iran, for the first time, political parties appeared on the stage of Iranian history. The formation of the National Council provided a suitable ground for the emergence and activity of political parties in Iran. It was a torus. The fourth term of the National Assembly is one of the most unique constitutional assemblies, which should be noted in many ways. At that time, Iran was in one of the most sensitive periods of its history. On the one hand, and on the other hand, insecurity and separatism had added to the deterioration of Iran's situation. In such a situation, political parties tried to deal with events and challenges within the framework of their political orientation. In this book, the role and performance of political parties in the fourth parliament, especially the confrontation of parties with different cabinets, is discussed, and the analysis and review of the performance and role of political parties in the fourth parliament of the National Council provide an overview of the role of political parties in the history of contemporary Iran.
