This book is the most important that has been writing about comparing the Islamic Gnostic with Hindu in contemporary age. This book is writing on the basis of "Majma Al-bahriyn" (College of seas) by Dara Shukuh, son of Shah Jahan the emperor of Indian Gurkani. Dara Shukuh dreamed to close religions, especially in the multiplicity society of India to assemble Islam and Hindu religions and if he done Indian wouldn't divide in two parts, India and Pakistan and the history of Asia would be changed. كتاب حاضر، از مهمترين آثاري است كه در دوران معاصر در شرح عرفان اسلامي و تطبيق و مقايسه آن با آيين هندو نوشته شده است. اين كتاب، بر اساس مجمع البحرين اثر دارا شكوه، پسر شاه جهان امپراتور گوركاني هند، تاليف شده است. دارا شكوه در واقع، روياي تقريب مذاهب را در سر مي پروراند و بويژه در جامعه ي متكثر هند بر آن بود كه دو مذهب بزرگ اسلام و هندو را به هم پيوند زند، كه گفته اند اگر در اين راه موفق مي شد، بسا كه شبه قاره هند به دو بخش هند و پاكستان تقسيم نمي شد و تاريخ آسيا تغيير مي كرد. اين كتاب سيري گسترده در عرصه ي دو فرهنگ هندو و اسلامي است و كليه ي مفاهيم و مسائل اساسي ديني و عرفاني اين دو سنت بزرگ معنوي را مورد بررسي و پژوهش قرار داده است.
