This book presents a collection of short stories by great and prominent writers of the world, all of which have been selected by Ahmad Okhot. In this collection, the translator has tried to find well-known writers in the world and include work from them in his collection. In the book, selected by the translator, we read works by great writers such as Marcel Proust, Katherine Mansfield, Vladimir Nabokov, Kubo Abe, Julio Cortázar, Bernard Malamud, and A. Henry. Ahmad Okhot (born in 1955 in Isfahan) is a short story writer, historian, translator, and literary critic. He has a doctorate in linguistics and semiotics. He was a member of the Isfahan War Literary Circle. He is also a member of the Writers’ Council of the Zinderud Quarterly. In addition to the numerous translations he has done, Okhot has many other works in his portfolio.
