Analyzing the nature of the government of the Prophet (PBUH) is of great importance for religious innovation, political modernity, and reforming the institution of the government in Iran and other Islamic societies, but most government studies in the Islamic world, without paying attention to the rule of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), follow the tradition of the rightful caliphs. Or they refer to Shia theological thoughts and make the story of Saqifa and the political tradition based on this event as a reference for the evaluation of the government. Thus, the nature of the Prophet's government and the course of his ten-year rule have been "systematically neglected" and have not been subject to much research and evaluation. Several years of studies and several semesters of teaching in the field of "Political Biography of the Prophet of Islam" show that this governance method is fundamentally based on the contract model. The existing contracts and agreements from the Prophet of Islam are so numerous and frequent that his government can be called a "contractual government". This research explores these documents and the model of governance in the Sunnah of the Prophet.
