Bahr al-Ansab is a book about the family of the children and descendants of Sheikh Ahmed Jam Gende Pil. This book was written by Mohammad Hakim Jami in the 11th century of Hijri. The survivors of Sheikh Jam, whose names and ancestry are mentioned in this book, lived in a wide geographical area, which today includes parts of Khorasan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. In addition to introducing the survivors of the Sheikh Jam family, this book is a valuable document in the field of historical studies, historical geography, sociology, and Sufism.

بحر الأنساب کتابی است درباره خاندان فرزندان و نوادگان شیخ احمد جام ژنده پیل این کتاب در قرن یازدهم هجری به دست محمد حکیم جامی تألیف شده است. بازماندگان شیخ جام که در این کتاب نام و نسبشان ذکر شده در قلمرو جغرافیایی گسترده‌ای میزیسته‌اند که امروزه شامل بخشهایی از خراسان ،افغانستان پاکستان ترکمنستان و ازبکستان می‌شود. این کتاب علاوه بر معرفی بازماندگان خاندان شیخ جام، سندی ارزشمند در حوزه مطالعات تاریخی، جغرافیای تاریخی، جامعه‌شناسی و تصوف است.
