Abbas Kazemi, by writing this book "Daily Matters in the Post-Revolutionary Society" and his emphasis on "Sociology of Everyday Life in Iran" has distanced himself from the stereotyped social science literature in Iran on the one hand and studied the objective realities of the society and on the other hand With elegance and intelligence, he has examined very important and complex aspects of the daily life of Iranians in the last few decades. Ali Mirspasi, a professor of Islamic and Middle Eastern studies at New York University, has stated that this innovative book is the first series of sociological studies on daily life in Iran through detailed ethnographic observations. By analyzing the social life of objects such as ties, jeans, and arrows to the ideology of violence, happiness and entrance exams, Abbas Kazemi contributes greatly to our understanding of the complexities and contradictions of social life in post-revolutionary Iran.
