"Thinking is as unpredictable as the present in which it takes place." How much does thinking depend on where you think? In principle, it is possible anywhere and at any time. Music and dance can make us think, sitting in the kitchen, a walk through nature or the city, virtual movement on the Internet, alone or in contact with places, and ways of thinking and writing are diverse. Our spaces of thought open up possibilities and limit them, they separate and connect at the same time. Thought, even if it is spatially limited, transcends boundaries. Journalists, scientists, and writers reflect on the places where they think and write. What does the place do to the thoughts? The result is anecdotes, dialogues, autobiographical observations, literary forays, mental images, and essays. They all result in a look at contemporary thinking that is as entertaining as it is serious.
