This book was written in order to understand and explain the role of the middle classes (traditional and new) in the social and political developments of Iran between 1320 and 1380. In order to achieve this goal, the role of the middle strata of Iranian society has been examined along with other social groups in the form of their political discourses. The book is organized in an introduction and five chapters with these titles: theoretical approach, structure and developments of social stratification, discourses and political developments (before the revolution and after the revolution) and finally, the research of this work is taken from the author's doctoral dissertation in the field of society. It is a science that has been defended under the title "The role of the middle class in the political developments of contemporary Iran with an emphasis on political discourses" and it has been presented in the present book with a few changes and terms.
