From graduating in the field of history to playing a role and gaining popularity in Turkish series and success in winning many acting awards, Engin Akırk is a popular actor from Turkey who has tested his talents in the field of writing this time. In the year 2018, Akurek published a book called "Silence", which was translated into Farsi after its great popularity in Turkey and was published by Noon Publishing House. The main topic that this young writer has targeted in the short stories of this book is the originality of human needs despite the head-turning changes and advances in technology. The Silence consists of twenty-one short stories that Akurek started writing at the age of twenty-two, and many of them have been published in a famous magazine. Apart from these stories, two stories "In My Opinion, Safa is the Right Choice" and "Cherry Tree" was written specifically for this book, and their collection was published together. With these stories, the author takes the audience to the years and eras when people still communicated through touching, watching, and messing around with each other. In the stories of playing marbles, the old aunt, the wolf of our story, and the child in me, children became children with their noisy games, and adults celebrated their holidays and happiness. Still, in a small story about love, it smells good, smiling, the air smells of memories, and let's meet in the stories, love has not become a victim of social favoritism, and silence has not normalized separation among people.
