Luharan is a very symbolic book, about Afghanistan, its history and its wars. Even a symbolic reference to international terrorism, especially the fundamentalist Taliban regime and September 11th , in fact, show that Taliban and terrorism are the resultant of historical failures, but in a different look and appearance. Times have changed, people may have changed, it may be twenty or twenty-first century, it is the time of information technology, and guns, instead of horses and chariots and iron swords, but despite this, still, Afghanistan is filled with backwardness and fundamentalism.
