This book is the story of the Central Bank of Iran and those who built this institution and managed it from the beginning to 1357, especially those who, as the head of the Central Bank, were ultimately responsible for the performance of this institution in those years. The policies of this period of the central bank in the implementation of the legal duties assigned to it, especially in the field of money and banking; And also the effects of these policies on how to achieve the goals that the law had assigned to the bank, have been examined in this book. The way decisions are made, the role of people who influenced decisions from outside the bank, and the way the bank acts about these officials, such as the king, the prime minister, the cabinet, the Supreme Economic Council, and the finance minister (as a representative of the government) are among other things. which is examined in this book. The central bank did not operate in a vacuum, so in this book, it has been tried to examine the limitations that the bank was facing and explain the extent of the bank's independence in performing its duties. It is in such a framework that it becomes clear how the central bank was able to play its role in preparing and regulating the general economic policies of the country. To some extent, this book is the author's memoirs during his tenure as the head of the Central Bank (1356-1354) and other responsibilities he had in connection with the Central Bank.
