This collection of poems is written in the form of nimai and expresses various social and especially environmental concerns. In the "Dog Horn" collection, only the environmental disasters of Iran such as air pollution, the destruction of Lake Urmia, the drying up of Hamon, Karun and Zayandeh Rood have not been discussed; The poet's view is more general and he pays attention to the human war with nature and his living environment.

این مجموعه شعر، در قالب نیمایی سروده شده و بیانگر دغدغه های مختلف اجتماعی و به ویژه زیست محیطی است. در مجموعه «بوق سگ» تنها به فاجعه های زیست محیطی ایران چون آلودگی هوا، از بین رفتن دریاچه ارومیه، خشک شدن هامون و کارون و زاینده رود پرداخته نشده است؛ نگاه شاعر کلی تر بوده و به جنگ بشر با طبیعت و محیط زندگی خود توجه می کند.
