Kasāyī Marvazī (Zindigī, Andīshah va Shi'r-i Ū): Persian 1389

Majed al-Din Abulhasan Kasaei, born in 341 AH in Merv, is an Iranian poet in the second half of the 4th century AH and perhaps the beginning of the 5th century AH. As his name suggests, and he refers to this, he was from Maro. Someone lived at the end of the Samanid period and the beginning of the Ghaznavid period. The time of his death is not known. But from the poem he wrote when he was 50 years old, he certainly died after 390 Hijri. So far, about four hundred verses of Kesai Marozi's poems have been obtained and efforts to collect his poems are still ongoing. The most complete and accurate Diwan that has been available to interested people so far has been compiled and corrected by Dr. Mohammad Amin Riahi under the title of Kasai Marozi (His Life, Thoughts and Poems).
