In this research, we have first analyzed and criticized the definition of simile, and then in three chapters, we have reviewed different topics related to simile. Since I believe that it is not possible to criticize the present without paying attention to the past, in the first chapter, the framework of simile issues in Persian and Arabic books has been examined, analyzed, and criticized; Here, an attempt has been made to pay attention to the works in this area. Due to the wide range of works in this field and the repetitiveness of some works, we necessarily chose some, therefore I have no claim that the mentioned works are the only works that should have been examined; Maybe someone else will consider this selection as a change, but the effort has been to include the works that have been influential in the development of rhetoric in the scope of our research. After that, in the second chapter, we examined and criticized the elements of the analogy and examined each component along with all the issues related to it. Then, in the third chapter, we have tried to bring up issues that have not been addressed in rhetorical books, it seems that today, without paying attention to such issues, rhetorical discussions, and here the specialty of simile, will not be very effective. It can be a new window to such issues.
