In 1918, the Republic of Turkestan sent a political and commercial delegation headed by Adrianovich Babushkin to Iran. در سال 1918 میلادی، جمهوری ترکستان هیئتی سیاسی، تجاری را به ریاست آدریانوویچ بابوشکین رهسپار ایران کرد. در یادداشت‌های رسمی دولت شوروی که برای بریتانیای کبیر ارسال شده اسامی رئیس و اعضای این هیئت اعزامی آمده ولی تاریخ و سرگذشت این هیئت تاکنون مورد بررسی جدی قرار نگرفته و ناشناخته مانده است. کتاب حاضر به بررسی اولین هیئت سیاسی و دیپلماتیک روسیه اختصاص دارد که در گیرودار جنگ‌های میهنی از ترکستان شوروی به ایران اعزام شد.
