مي بريد دو سر بر گردنش مي روييد- نماد تگثير بي پايان است؛ جريان پيوسته ي دوتا شدن است كه در سراسر داستاني اط جاسوسي و خرابكاري روي مي دهد. كم و بيش همه ي شخصيت هاي اصلي هويت هاي دوگانه و حتي سه گانه دارند.
