The subject of religious pathology is the criticism of the vision, character, and actions of religious people, and its criterion is religion and its goal is reform. Its importance is such that if it is ignored, religion itself is recognized as a harm. However, there is no shorter and more reliable way to eliminate harm than submitting to the rule of reason. A healthy religion is in a healthy mind and a rational society. An individual or society that is not rational also corrupts religion. Either it makes it a sleeping pill or a death hemlock. The book Religious Pathology, by citing testimony from two witnesses, namely reason (inner religion) and religion (outer reason), argues and cites what religion is and what pseudo-religion is. This work is responsible for criticizing the harms that threaten religion, including: fanaticism, exaggeration, reaction, stagnation, overtaking religion, fanaticism, authoritarianism, populism, socio-political withdrawal, imitation of others, and moral materialism.
