The eighth volume of the historical documents of the Ghaffari family, which is actually the third volume of documents related to Gholam Hossein Khan Ghaffari (Sahib-e-Akhtyar) during the Ahmad Shah and Pahlavi periods, contains many documents from ministries such as the Ministry of War, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Interior, and the Ministry of the Court, which were addressed to Sahib-e-Akhtyar as the head of Ahmad Shah's office. There are also several pages of biography of Gholam Hossein Khan Ghaffari among these documents, which Gholam Hossein Khan wrote at the request of Dr. Qasim Ghani.

جلد هشتم اسناد تاریخی خاندان غفاری که در واقع سومین جلد از اسناد مربوط به غلامحسین‌خان غفاری(صاحب‌اختیار) در دورۀ احمدشاه و دورۀ پهلوی است، دربردارندۀ اسناد زیادی از وزارت‌خانه‌هایی مثل وزارت جنگ، وزارت خارجه،وزارت داخله و وزارت دربار است که خطاب به صاحب‌اختیار به عنوان رئیس دفتر احمدشاه نوشته شده‌اند. چند صفحه هم شرح حال غلامحسین‌خان غفاری درمیان این اسناد وجود دارد که غلامحسین‌خان به درخواست دکتر قاسم غنی نوشته است.
