Conspiracy delusion is a type of mental illness that is prevalent among an individual or a society. Perhaps it can be said that it is a kind of projection that comes from weakness. Weakness in accepting individual and collective responsibility, that is, the person or society attributes the cause of their misfortunes and failures to another, which can be a country. The book of Essays on Conspiracy Theory in Iran is divided into three main sections and each section is written by one of the great and well-known researchers in the field of history and sociology. In the first article, Yervand Abrahamian has examined the roots of paranoid in Iran in accordance with the contemporary political currents of Iran. In the second part, Ahmad Ashraf explains the concept of the history of conspiracy in Iran, and in the third article, Homayun Katoozian examines Khalil Maliki's views on conspiracy theory. The book also contains two other subsections, one of which is dedicated to the text of the indictment issued against Khalil Maliki and several other people as leaders of the socialist society in Iran. And the final part also traces the concept of conspiracy theory in Persian and English articles and writings. Reading this book for all of us who have been deeply involved with this issue both in the past and now can deepen our insight and understanding of this issue in the hope that this disease will disappear from among us.
