آنونس ها، این تکه های تصویری کوتاه و اعجاب انگیز، همواره ما را مسحور خود ساخته اند. از اولین آنونس ها که نوشته هایی ساده بودند تا امروز که با بدیع ترین جلوه های ویژه و بصری ساخته می شوند، هدفشان شعله ور کردن آتش عطش و اشتیاق ما برای دیدن فیلم هایی است که هنوز به نمایش در نیامده اند.
چندین دهه است که پژوهشگران و نویسندگان سینما در جهان به نگارش مقاله ها و کتاب های فراوانی درباره آنونس پرداخته اند و از جنبه های مختلف، آن را بررسی کرده اند اما متاسفانه هیچ یک به فارسی ترجمه نشده و به ادبیات سینمای ایران راه نیافته اند تا مورد استفاده علاقه مندان و اهل فن این رشته قرار گیرند.
کتاب « آنونس» نتیجه ی چند سال پژوهش، ترجمه و مصاحبه از «تاریخچه تا ساختار» است تا پاسخگوی بخشی از نیاز دانشجویان، مدرسان، پژوهشگران سینما و نیز سازندگان آنونس باشد.
