Gholamhossein Ebrahimi Dinani (born on January 5, 1313) is an Iranian philosopher. His fame is mainly due to his research on the wisdom of enlightenment and sohrawardi and its revival in recent years. By reviewing all the works and writings of Sheikh Shahabuddin Suhrawardi, he has written several important books related to the philosophy and thoughts of this Iranian philosopher. He is currently a retired professor of the Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Literature and Humanities, University of Tehran, and teaches philosophy at the universities of Tehran, Tarbiat Modares, University of Islamic Religions, and Islamic Azad University. Ebrahimi Dinani is also a permanent member of Iran Academy of Sciences. He won the Book of the Year award in 2004 with the book "Doftar Aql" and "Ayat Eshgh", in 2015 with the book Derakhshash Ibn Rushd Dar Hikmat Masha, and in 2011 with the book Philosophy and Sahat Sokhon. He is selected for the first round of the lasting faces conference.
