Al-Afiq al-Mubin is the most detailed writing of Hakim Strabad, Amir Muhammad Baqir Damad, known as Mir Damad. According to the permission left from Mirdamad to his only son-in-law and student, that is, Amir Seyyed Ahmed Alavi, this work was taught by the author himself and many students from Iran and the subcontinent attended his lessons. It was written in the field of Tahrir, and all the existing copies of it only contain one "Al-Sahrah". "Al-Sahrah al-Awali" deals with public affairs and "Al-Sahrah al-Thaniyyah" deals with religious issues.

الأفق المبین مفصل‌ترین نگاشته حکیم استراباد، امیر محمدباقر داماد، مشهور به میرداماد است. بنابر اجازاتی که از میرداماد به تنها داماد و شاگرد او، یعنی، امیر سید احمد علوی بر جای مانده، این اثر توسط خود مؤلف تدریس می‌شده است و شاگردان بسیاری از ایران و شبه‌قاره به درس او حاضر می‌شده‌اند.این اثر به سودای دو «الصرحة» به رشته تحریر درآمده که تمامی نسخ موجود از آن فقط در بردارنده یک «الصرحة» است. «الصرحة الاولی» به مباحث امور عامه می‌پردازد و «الصرحة الثانیة» به سودای مباحث ربوبی بوده است.
