Bunyād'hā-yi falsafī-yi 'ilm-i Farhang: Persian 1401

The purpose of this book is to explore the philosophical roots of the development of knowledge related to culture, which is known in various academic traditions with different names such as cultural studies (in England), culture analysis (in Holland), and culture science (in Germany). Based on the three concepts of progress, law, and experience, as the three connecting links in the historical course of the formation of the "science of culture", the author has tried to show the dependence of such knowledge on one hand with experimental science and on the other hand with religion, myth, and poetry. He has tried to reveal the logic of the science of culture by explaining the interaction and perhaps the conflict between the science of culture and the natural sciences from the Middle Ages to Vico and Diltay and the introduction of fundamental concepts such as metaphor, memory, imagination, and memory.
