The question and research of this office was originally formed considering the conditions of the contemporary world. If we have established the need for dialogue and understanding, we should pay more attention to the possibilities and talents hidden in cultures. The mysticism of world religions is one of the most important possibilities for dialogue in contemporary cultures. The mysticism of world religions refers to the mystical traditions arising from the great world religions, namely Hinduism, Daoism, Buddhism, Christianity and Islam. This research has been formed with an effort to return to the foundations and to find hidden commonalities and similarities in mystical traditions.

پرسش و پژوهش این دفتر، در اصل با نظر به شرایط عالم معاصر شکل گرفته است. اگر به لزوم گفت و گو و مفاهمه وقوف یافته باشیم، باید به امکانات و استعدادهای نهفته در فرهنگ ها بیش از پیش توجه کنیم. عرفان های ادیان جهانی از مهم ترین امکانات موجود در فرهنگ های معاصر، برای گفت و گو است. مراد از عرفان های ادیان جهانی، سنت های عرفانی برآمده از ادیان بزرگ جهانی، یعنی آیین های هندو، دائو، بودا، مسیحیت و اسلام است. این پژوهش، با کوشش برای بازگشت به بنیادها و به منظور یافتن مشترکات و مشابهات مستتر در سنت های عرفانی شکل گرفته است.
