"Bon Nameh of the Masdars of Dari Farsi Language" is a one-volume and bilingual work, in Persian and English, by Dr. Shayan Afshar, a linguistics researcher, writer, and professor of Persian language. In its way, this dictionary is a step in realizing the goals of the Persian language and literature in remembering and using beautiful and rhythmic Persian words that were forgotten in a linguistic/cultural/historical context. The purpose of researching and creating this dictionary is to bring alive the beautiful Dari Persian verbs and to inform about the historical retreat of simple Persian verbs against fake compound "verbs"; that a significant part of these "verbs" are composed of an Arabic word and a Persian auxiliary verb.

«بن نامه ی مصدرهای زبان فارسی دری» کاری تک جلدی و دوزبانه، به فارسی انگلیسی، از دکتر شایان افشار، پژوهنده ی زبان شناسی، نویسنده، و استاد زبان فارسی است. این فرهنگنامه در نوع خود گامی است در تحقق آماج های زبان و ادب فارسی در به یاد آوردن و کاربرد کارواژه های زیبا و موزون فارسی که در یک زمینه ی زبانی/ فرهنگی/ تاریخی به دست فراموشی سپرده شده بودند. هدف پژوهش و فرآهم آوردن این فرهنگنامه، زنده کردن کارواژه های زیبای فارسی دری است و آگاهانیدن پدیده ی عقب نشینی تاریخی کارواژه های ساده ی پارسی در برابر «فعل»های مرکب ساختگی (جعلی) است؛ که بخش چشمگیری از این «فعل»های مرکب از یک واژه ی عربی و کارواژه ی کمکی فارسی ساخته شده اند.
