Hamzād: Persian 1400

Atorenko was one of the first six prominent students in Sigmund Freud's school of psychoanalysis. Freud called him "Little Drunk" and he advised his student not to study medicine. But very soon, Rank left the teacher's circle and the "International Psychoanalytic Society" to continue his independent psychoanalytical studies in literature, anthropological art, etc. in Austria, France, and America. One of these works is Hamzad, which was first published as a work by Freud and then as an independent book in German, French, and English. This study deals with the phenomenon of Hamzad in European literature and art from the time of Dostoevsky's Hamzad to the film Student of Prague - and the legends, myths, and beliefs of various peoples. It has been reflected in the outstanding work of Sadegh Hedayat, the pioneer author of contemporary Iranian fiction. As Mustafa Farzaneh in the book "Getting to Know Sadegh Hedayat" (25) from A Conversation mentions that Hedayat reminds him to read Hamzad Otto Rang's book to understand the blind owl and writes to him in his thick and beautiful handwriting.
