In a war-torn tropical island where the teachers have abandoned it, like everyone else, there is only one white man who has decided to stay: a strange man named Mr. Watts, who has always been the main subject of curiosity and ridicule of others, and now, he collects the ruins of the school building and reads the book Big Dreams by Charles Dickens to the children every day. These stories soon spread to other villages and people breathe new life into the rich mythology of their ancestors by retelling different stories.
