Since the nomads often lived by subsistence farming, they needed a lot of pasture for their cattle; And the heads of the governments, because they often did not have a standing army, were in dire need of the military help of the nomads and their trained horsemen in wars. Therefore, a relationship was formed similar to Tidolari where only the type of traded items differed. The dependence of the rulers on this military aid decreased when they gradually built fixed armies with better equipment for themselves and their need for temporary soldiers was removed.

از آنجا که عشایر اغلب با دامداری گذران زندگی میکردند نیاز فراوان به چراگاه برای احشامشان داشتند؛ و سران دولتها چون اغلب ارتش ثابت نداشتند سخت نیازمند کمک نظامی عشایر و سواران ورزیده آنها در جنگها بودند این نیاز دوسویه چاره ای جز همکاری و همزیستی برای دو طرف باقی نمی گذاشت پس دادوستدی انجام می پذیرفت که در آن یک طرف سرباز میداد و طرف دیگر چراگاه رابطه ای شبیه تیولداری شکل میگرفت که فقط جنس اقلام مورد معامله فرق میکرد وابستگی فرمانروایان به این کمک نظامی زمانی کاهش یافت که آنان رفته رفته ارتشهای ثابت با تجهیزات بهتر برای خود ساختند و نیازشان به سرباز موقت مرتفع شد.
