The Afshar tribe of Khamsa region, which is now called Zanjan, is one of the most important tribes in Iran, although its role in local and national developments has been mentioned in many sources, it has not been the subject of independent research until now. What is presented now under the title of Afshariya history is a description written by "Qasim Khan Jahanshahlou" himself of the elders of this tribe, a writer and orator, as a kind of internal report of tribal divisions, introducing the heads and elders of the tribe, which may be somewhat lacking reduce the aforementioned and prepare the ground for further research on this topic.

ایل افشار منطقه خمسه که اینک زنجان خوانده می شود، یکی از ایلات مهم ایران است که گرچه در بسیاری از منابع به نقش آن در تحولات محلی و مملکتی، اشاره های فراوانی شده است، ولی تا کنون به صورت مستقل موضوع تحقیق و پژوهش نبوده است. آن چه اینک تحت عنوان تاریخ افشاریه ارائه می شود شرحی است به قلم " قاسم خان جهانشاهلو" خود از بزرگان این ایل، ادیب و سخنور، در مقام نوعی گزارش داخلی از تقسیمات طایفه ای، معرفی سران و بزرگان ایل که شاید تا حدودی از کاستی پیش گفته کم کرده و زمینه را برای پژوهش های بعدی در این موضوع فراهم کند.
