Maybe it was his special and adventurous life that created a feeling of happiness in Mahmoud. Life by the ocean in a country like Sri Lanka was so fantastic for him that he wanted to live there. There were moments, especially in the evening of some hot days, he was willing to even give up all his other dreams, including becoming a writer and famous, if only he could be besides that ocean in a big garden facing the high waves with a view of giant albatrosses that dot the horizon. They were splitting and their voices mixed with the sound of the ocean. He was ready to live even to die for it. At that moment, he was ready to sit flat on the bed and aim the colt at the temple and shoot. Ruhollah Hosseini (Attash) is a member of the Faculty of Tehran University.
