The idea of producing indigenous science in the world and naturally Islamic science in Islamic societies is cognate with the dominance of experimental science in the world. At the same time as the universality of Western models, the movement of resistance based on the production of science has also grown in accordance with the local culture, but this movement has not yet achieved a clear pattern and has not been freed from conceptual ambiguities. The concept of "Islamic sociology" in the literature of social sciences shows that more or less efforts are being made to produce religious science in this field. But there is still no consensus and there are different ideas. Although the supporters of Islamic sociology have differences of opinion, they generally believe that there are propositions in various scientific fields in religious sources that cannot be ignored because they have been issued from an honest source of knowledge that does not contain any false words. Therefore, the definition that this view provides of religious science is: "the intervention of religious sources in the process of producing science". But the opponents of religious science also believe that science and religion have distinct natures and goals. Sociological science studies reality and has a descriptive nature, But religion is normative and valuable and speaks of a favorable situation. This book has put together many positive and negative viewpoints and has investigated various aspects of the feasibility and impossibility of Islamic sociology.
