This novel is based on an Iraq and Mesopotamia folk story from fifth century of lunar month. The book is divided in three chapters. An eleven years old girl named "Puran" tells the first chapter. A prince named \Mahmud] tells second chapter and the hero of the novel, \Puran], tells the third chapter again.

اين رمان بر اساس داستان عاميانه اي كه از قرن پنجم هجري فمري ميان مردم عراق و منطقه بين النهرين نقل مي شده نوشته شده است. كتاب در سه فصل تقسيم بندي شده است. فصل اول از زبان "پوران" دختركي يازده ساله شروع مي شود. فصل دوم را اميرزاده اي یبه نام "محمود" ادامه مي دهد و فصل سوم را دوباره "پوران"، قهرمان رمان، تعريف مي كند.
