Abu'l Hassan Yamīn ud-Dīn Khusraw (1253–1325 AD), better known as Amīr Khusraw Dehlavī, was an Indian Sufi singer, poet and scholar who lived under the Delhi Sultanate. He was an iconic figure in the cultural history of the Indian subcontinent. He was a mystic and a spiritual disciple of Nizamuddin Auliya of Delhi, India. He wrote poetry primarily in Persian, but also in Hindavi. A vocabulary in verse, the Ḳhāliq Bārī, containing Arabic, Persian, and Hindavi terms is often attributed to him. Khusraw is sometimes referred to as the "voice of India" or "Parrot of India" (Tuti-e-Hind), and has been called the "father of Urdu literature.

امیرخسرو دهلوی عارف و شاعر بزرگ پارسی گوی هند در سال ۶۵۱ هجری قمری در دهلی متولد شد. پس از کسب معلومات به شاعری پرداخت و در دربار پادشاهان هند تقرب حاصل کرد. وی از موسیقی نیز بهره مند بوده و از موسیقی دانان مشهور زمان خود به شمار می رفته است. وی در نظم و نثر استاد بود و آثار بسیاری از خود باقی گذاشته که از جملهٔ آنها دیوان قصاید و غزلیات اوست. علاوه بر آن خمسهٔ نظامی گنجوی را نیز استقبال کرده و آن را جواب گفته است. وی سرانجام در سن هفتاد و پنج سالگی در سال ۷۲۵ هجری قمری در دهلی وفات یافت.
