The articles, notes, and introductions left by Professor Saeed Nafisi contain some of the most important findings in Iranological studies, especially in the literary and cultural history of Iran, which were prepared by one of the most diligent and inquisitive scholars of this land. In the present volume, following the three previous volumes, forty-odd writings by him have been collected and reprinted so that another part of those findings, along with various indexes, can be made available to those interested.

مقالات، یادداشت‌ها و مقدمه‌هایی که از استاد سعید نفیسی برجا مانده، حاوی برخی از مهم‌ترین یافته‌ها در مطالعات ایران‌شناسی، به ویژه در تاریخ ادبی و فرهنگی ایران است که به دست یکی از کوشاترین و جویاترین دانشمندان این سرزمین فراهم شده است. در دفتر حاضر، پس از سه دفتر پیشین، چهل‌وچند نوشته از ایشان گردآوری و بازچاپ شده تا بخشی دیگر از آن یافته‌ها، به‌همراه نمایه‌هایی متنوع، در اختیار علاقه‌مندان قرار گیرد.
