Dr. Karim Sanjabi (1934-2005), Minister of Culture in the government of Dr. Mohammad Mossadegh, was one of the leading politicians in the national movement of the Iranian oil industry and the special judge of his government in the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company case at the International Court of Justice in The Hague. He resigned from this position shortly after joining the cabinet and was elected to support the government in parliamentary debates as a representative of the people of Kermanshah in the 17th National Consultative Assembly (1933-1931). During his term in the Shura Assembly, he delivered six detailed and well-reasoned speeches, which are important documents in the country's contemporary history. The titles of the aforementioned cases are as follows: The trial and the decision of the International Court of Justice regarding the lawsuit of the British government regarding the plan to establish a Senate and the revision of Article 48 of the Constitution regarding anti-colonial movements; Aspects of the foreign policy of the royal government of Iran regarding the situation and demands of the Sinjabi tribe of the Iranian national movement and the murder of the head of the country's police force.
