Abdul Majid Sharafi (January 24, 1942) is a Tunisian Islamic thinker, academic, and writer, and one of the most famous researchers who is concerned with rereading. And previously he has shined as a specialist researcher in Islamic civilization and thought based on modern approaches in academic research. In his works and thoughts, he tries to distinguish between Islam as a mission on the one hand, and historical Islam or religion on the other hand.

عبدالمجید شَرَفی (۲۴ ژانویه ۱۹۴۲) اندیشمند اسلامی، دانشگاهی و نویسندهٔ تونسی است و یکی از سرشناس‌ترین پژوهشگران دارای دغدغهٔ بازخوانی است. و پیشتر به عنوان پژوهشگری متخصص در تمدن و اندیشهٔ اسلامی بر پایهٔ رویکردهای نوین در پژوهش‌های علمی - آکادمی درخشیده‌است. در آثار و اندیشه خود تلاش دارد میان اسلام رسالتی از یک سو، و اسلام تاریخی یا دین از سوی دیگر تمایز قائل شود.
