Mīvah-yi khārijī: Persian 1401

The novel Foreign Fruit begins by following the life story of Lottie Swift and Celia Holden in a small neighborhood in the 1950s. Lottie lives with Celia's family and is treated like Celia's sister, although the people in the neighborhood do not treat her that way and see her as what she really is. The lives of these two girls are completely intertwined and they do all their work together; Until Celia leaves home for London and meets the man of her dreams. When Celia returns home, the presence of her fiancé, Guy, threatens all of Lottie's cherished memories and relationships. The story then jumps to 50 years later and the life of a character named Daisy. This woman's life is going well until her partner decides to leave them because he cannot afford to live with a child. After this incident, Daisy tries to put her life together and works in an art deco house in the same small neighborhood as Lottie and Celia. This incident has caused the lives of these characters to become tangled and very soon, the past and the present will be mixed up.
