The book "Lost Children's Archive" is a novel written by "Valeria Louiselli" that was first published in 2019. A couple and their two children go on a road trip from New York to Arizona in the heat of summer. As the family moves westward, the bond between them gradually loosens: one of the children can feel that there is a rift between the parents. Through small entertainment such as singing and playing with maps and cameras, the children try to cope with both their own family crisis and a bigger crisis that is all over the news: the stories of thousands of children who are struggling are trying to cross the southwestern border into America—but are either captured or lost somewhere in the desert.
