نگاهش را به آسمان شب می دوزد؛ منم بادبادک دوست دارم لیلی...! دلم یه بادبادک می خواد. لیلی می خندد فردا اومدنی و سایلش و میخرم میارم. شاید بشه قبل از شروع عملت درستش کنیم. می تونی بعد از اینکه جراحیت تموم شد بفرستیش اون بالا! سرش را پایین میاندازد تلاشی برای پاک کردن اشک های روی صورتش نمی کند: فکر می کنی بعد از عمل میتونم بازم ببینم؟ خود را جلو می کشد. دستهایش را به شانه ی سپهر رسانده و سرش را به سمت آغوشش می کشد. اشک هایش سرازیر میشوند یادته وقتی اولین بار میخواستم برم ،مدرسه اونقدر میترسیدم چی گفتی؟
سپهر لبهایش را به شانه ی لیلی می فشارد و با صدای خفه ای که به سختی قابل تفهمیم است، پاسخ می دهد: وقتی ترسیدی دستت و بزار روی قلبت چشمات و ببند و فکر کن سه تایی با هم رفتیم تو یه جزیره هیشکی نیست به درخت بزرگ ...... بریدگی نفس هایش اجازه نمی دهد ادامه دهد.
