This book is the book of the Turkmens, a documented effort and at the same time outside its constraints. Although it is a documentary; But it has been tried to give another definition of Turkmens, a definition that may not be in line with reality; But it is the same definition that was the intention of the book: a single people in a single situation.

ترکمن ها مردم سختی هستند. مردمی که ارتباط گرفتن با آنها مشکل است. قابل پیش بینی نیستند. خلق و خوی خاص خود را دارند. دست به عصا هستند و غریبه را سخت بین خود راه می دهند. این کتاب، کتاب ترکمن هاست، تلاشی مستند و در عین حال خارج از قید و بندهای آن. با آنکه مستندنگاری است؛ اما سعی شده تعریف دیگری از ترکمن ها بدهد، تعریفی که شاید چندان منطبق با واقعیت نباشد؛ اما همان تعریفی است که نیت کتاب بوده: مردمی یکه در موقعیتی یکه.
