نجدي در زمان حيات خود اين مجموعه داستان ها را ناتمام گذاشت و هيچگونه نامي براي آنها انتخاب نكرده بود و چون او معلم رياضي بود همسرش نام داستان هاي او را با عنوان هاي رياضي نهاده است.
در اين كتاب دستخط وصيت نامه بيژن نجدي قبل از اعزام به جبهه نيز چاپ شده است.
