The title of this book shouldn’t startle you for it is a collection of stories originally written by Rudyard Kipling for his daughter Josephine and published in 1902. They are examples of wild animals in their early years. In his stories, he pokes fun at his characters and loves them simultaneously so that he can reveal their humanity and weaknesses. Kipling imagined these tales to be read aloud and enjoyed by the reader through the participation of others. These stories carry the readers to a strange world beyond time and space.
