However, it is a matter of regret that there is no comprehensive and documented book about his life and achievements in any authentic language. This research gap became a turning point for the author who spent six years of his life in Tehran, London, and Vienna to fill this gap and gather information. Using ancient sources and modern studies, the author has tried to provide a comprehensive picture of Cyrus' personality and achievements. This continuous effort not only explains his condition and actions but also includes the defense of the cultural heritage of Iranians and the global effects of Cyrus on different societies. It is hoped that this work can create a deeper understanding of this historical figure among the readers and, in addition to compensating for the existing deficiencies, inspire more research in this field. In the description of this book, it is enough that Achaemenid Cyrus, who reigned in the most famous period of Iran's history, was able to establish the largest political organization among different countries, which has not been covered by reliable and comprehensive sources so far. This book is the result of years of efforts of the late Professor Shapour Shahbazi, a great contemporary Iranologist and expert, who has depicted in detail the life and cosmopolitanism of Cyrus.
