The book "Letter to the Sky" is a collection of six notebooks of poetry by Dr. Mohammad Reza Shafiei Kadkani. Shafiei Kadkani is one of the well-known and great poets of our country, who has poems in the classical format as well as in Nimayi style. He became famous with his poetry in the alleys of Neishabur and presented himself as a distinguished person with his critical, theoretical and literary works. Kodkani has often created social poems and has turned to creating precious and valuable works with a poetic language and a human perspective. The works that clearly reflect his prominence and difference from the poets of his generation.

کتاب «نامه‌ای به آسمان» مجموعه‌ی شش دفترِ شعرِ دکتر محمدرضا شفیعی‌کدکنی است. شفیعی‌کدکنی از شاعران نام‌آشنا و بزرگ کشورمان است که سروده‌هایی در قالب کلاسیک و همچنین در سبک نیمایی دارد. او با شعر در کوچه‌باغ‌های نیشابور به شهرت رسید و با آثاری انتقادی، نظری و همچنین ادبی، خود را به‌عنوان فردی متمایز مطرح ساخت. کدکنی غالبا سروده‌هایی اجتماعی را خلق کرده و با زبانی شاعرانه و نگاهی انسانی به آفرینش آثاری گران‌بها و ارزشمند روی آورده است. آثاری که برجستگی و تفاوت او را به‌شکلی بارز از شاعران هم‌نسل خود باز می‌تاباند.
