The Afshars of Shahindej and Takab are a review of the stories of the ruling families of Afshar in this region based on a wide collection of documents and orders left by these families. This review begins with a brief presentation of the history of the Afshar clan since its establishment in Iran, then it is followed by focusing on the faces of Afshar, more than twenty-five main characters. In addition to the three hundred and sixty pages of documents that have been presented and cited in this review, a wide collection of images of the discussed figures as well as images of a number of documents related to them have been attached in this book.

افشارهای شاهین‌دژ و تکاب مروری است بر سرگذشت‌های خاندان‌های حاکم افشار در این خطه بر اساس مجموعهٔ گسترده‌ای از اسناد و فرامین برجای مانده از این خاندان‌ها. این بررسی با ارائهٔ شمّه‌ای از تاریخچهٔ ایل افشار از بدو استقرار در ایران آغاز شده، آنگاه با تمرکز بر چهره‌های صاحب‌نام افشار، بیش از بیست‌وپنج شخصیت اصلی، پیگیری می‌شود. علاوه بر حدود سیصد و شصت برگ سند که در این بررسی ارائه و مورد استناد قرار گرفته‌اند، مجموعهٔ گسترده‌ای از تصاویر چهره‌های مورد بحث و همچنین تصاویر تعدادی از اسناد مرتبط با آنها در این کتاب پیوست شده‌اند.
