The days of imprisonment described in this book are reminiscent of a period of the Iran-Iraq war and the mass executions of the prisoners in summer of 1988. It can be said that the tortures and executions of 1967 were one of the most historical authoritarian relations and physical and mental tortures by the regime of Iran at that time. Although several decades have passed since then, it is still a matter of debate. The effects of prison in those days on the psyche of those who managed to escape the execution squad rarely fade in their current free lives.

ایام زندانی که در این کتاب بیان میشود، یادآور دورانی از جنگ خانمانسوز ایران - عراق و اعدامهای تابستان 1367 است. میتوان گفت شکنچه های زندان و اعدامهای سال 67 یکی از تاریخی ترین مناسبات استبدادی و شکنجه های روحی فیزیکی توسط رژیم مرتجع وقت ایران بوده است . باری با وجود گذشت جندین دهه از این دوران بازهم جای بحث و بررسی است. تاثیرات زندان آن ایام بر روان کسانی که توانسته اند از جوخه اعدام جان سالم بدر ببرند به ندرت در حیات آزاد کنونی آنها رنگ می بازد..
