This book introduces the sights of semioticians from Saussure and Pierce to later semioticians and the writer. The book is in five chapters. The first chapter is an introduction, second chapter describes the theoretical principles and description of technical and key words, third chapter criticises the former ideas, fourth chapter is about the theoretical sight of the writer titled "layer semiology" and the fifth chapter evaluates the hypothesis of "layer semiology" and aggregates the book.

اين كتاب كوششي است در جهت معرفي ديدگاه هاي نشانه شناسان از سوسور و پيرس گرفته تا نشانه شناسان متاخر و همچنين ارائه ي ديدگاه هاي نگارنده در اين زمينه. كتاب در پنج فصل تدوين شده است. فصل نخست مقدمه، فصل دوم طرح مباني نظري و شرح واژه هاي فني و كليدي، فصل سوم بررسي آراي گذشتگان و شرح پيشينه ي مطالعاتي، فصل چهارم ديدگاه نظري نگارنده تحت عنوان "نشانه شناسي لايه اي" و فصل پنجم به ارزيابي فرضيه ي "نشانه شناسي لايه اي" و جمع بندي كل رساله اختصاص داده شده است.
